Andy has been a Tennis Professional for over 30 years. He is a certified Club Pro 3 which is the highest level of certification offered for Tennis Club Management. Andy also holds a Coach 3 Level Certification from Tennis Canada.
Highly regarded as a leader in his field, Andy is the Head Coach Developer for the Ontario Tennis Association . With this position, Andy teaches tennis professionals, “how to be” professionals. His philosophy and ultimate goal on and off the court as a coach, is to help people develop a love of the game and help make them play better. As he noted recently in an interview with Tennis Canada, “the satisfaction from improving, for both the player and the coach, is intoxicating!” This enthusiasm and positive coaching style creates an environment for coaching excellence and also an exceptional member experience, which is the ultimate goal of Premier Racquet Clubs.
Val Ushanova
Junior Program Coordinator
Valerie began her tennis career at the age of 5 in Kiev, Ukraine where she fell in love with the sport. Most recently, she spent the winter coaching at Richmond Hill Country Club. Prior to that she spent 4 years as the head of Junior Development at the Donalda Club. She holds certification as a Club Professional 2.
Valerie also has a wealth of experience at Community Clubs and was instrumental to the success of Moore Park’s Adult and Junior programs during her tenure as the club's Assistant Head Pro.
As a player, Valerie boasts an impressive track record finishing her junior career Top 10 in U18 and #1 in the Open category in Ontario. She studied Psychology at York University, where she was a proud captain of the Lions Varsity Tennis Team and played out of the #1 spot. In her varsity career, she won 2 Gold and 2 Silver OUA medals, was named OUA Female Player of the Year 3 consecutive years, was nominated for York Lions Female Player of the Year, and led her team (undefeated) to a National Championship in the 2014-2015 season making her the #1 Canadian University player.

Bogdan Grygorenko
High Performance Director
“I am a passionate High Performance Tennis Coach who has been developing the next generation of young talent for the past 9 years. I achieve results with my athletes by working hard, exhibiting and instilling good values from a very young age, and, of course, having fun in the process. I believe discipline and humility are the keys to becoming great.”
Bogdan has had a busy career with an extensive resume of work in the high-performance area. He is a former Tennis Canada National coach who was part of the leadership team the Centre of Excellence at the Tennis Canada site in Toronto for 4 years. He has spent time as a travelling coach with Tennis Canada and captained the Boys U14 Team in 2016 & 2019. His players have won multiple titles at the Provincial, National, Tennis Europe, and ITF levels. Most recently Bogdan led a successful High-Performance program at Mayfair Parkway and is excited to bring his demanding brand of training to Premier Racquet Club – Markham.
Zane Hussain
Tennis Professional
Zane is a certified Club Pro 1 with Tennis Canada, and a member of the Tennis Professionals Association. He has been active member in the Toronto and York region tennis communities for the past 25 plus years. Zane initially got into coaching to help pay for university in his late teens and quickly realized how much he loved helping his clients realize their tennis potential and to share his love for the game. He holds a Bachelor’s of Electrical Engineering degree from Ryerson University. Zane brings a high energy and positive coaching style because he believes in creating a positive member experience while helping them to attain their tennis aspirations. Zane has coached at several clubs including, McLevin Park Tennis Club, Wishing Well Tennis Club, Tam Heather Curling and Tennis Club, and L’Amoreaux Tennis Centre.
Ethan Antonopoulos

Ethan started Tennis at the age of 8 at the Markham Tennis Club. There he truly enjoyed the programs and amazing coaching support. Working his way into volunteering in for the summer camps and afterschool programs as he realized that he enjoyed working with all the kids who were eager to learn the sport. Ethan continued this past summer with summer camps and after school programs which led to him taking and completing the Ontario Tennis Association Instructors certificate in order to continue continue to pursue coaching tennis. Ethan is a student at Markham District High School and enjoys many sports however, he lists tennis as his passion.
Tarik Kamel

Tarik Kamel has been playing competitively at very high level at an early age and has most of his success within his adult life. He’s been ranked in top 100 in singles and doubles in Ontario and Canada and ITF seniors’ circuit. He is very well known around the tennis community and brings a lot of knowledge of the game to all his students.
Tarik is passionate about seeing his students improve and develop a love for the sport.
Philipp Truveller

Having started at the age of 4, Philipp has been passionate about the sport through thick and thin. Having started as a volunteer, Philipp found he had a knack for teaching. Starting early at the age of 12, he started volunteering at summer camps. He is now certified as a Club Professional 1.
Philipp has found himself highly successful within the tennis industry thanks to his high energy and enthusiasm on the court. He loves spreading the love and joy he feels for tennis both on court and off.

I became a certified tennis instructor after my early retirement from own business. I love working with young children and adults who are new to tennis or who want to improve their tennis skills. I have played doubles tennis competitively on different recreational ladies’ and mixed leagues. I speak fluently Mandarin and Cantonese. I am thrilled to share my own life testimonial: It is never too late to learn how to play tennis. Tennis can be a sport for life. Tennis can be the love of your life.
Lucy Lumsden

Lucy’s passion for tennis began when she first picked up a racquet and started lessons at the age of 5. Since then, her love for tennis has remained while she continued playing the game and now coaching young athletes.
Lucy completed her instructor certification along with the Inspire Through Sport Mentorship program.This course taught her not only how to become a great coach and role model, but how to mentor and empower her students through sport. Lucy continues to learn what does, and doesn’t work while coming up with fun new ways for kids to learn and play.
Teaching children the game of tennis, watching them grow and improve while having fun is what Lucy loves most about coaching at Premier Racquet Club!
Jordan Master
Tennis Professional
Jordan Master has over 15 years of coaching experience. In 2021, he was named Coach of the Year by Sport Aurora. He is certified by Tennis Canada as a Club Pro 1 Coach and is a member of the Tennis Professional Association. Jordan has had great success coaching players of all ages, and levels. He started out coaching in his hometown of Thornhill, then took his talents south of the border to coach in Los Cabos Mexico for a year. When he returned to Canada, he began work at Timberlane Athletic club in Aurora. The next adventure was a great opportunity to be the Head Pro for Total Tennis, at Greenhills in London On.
Jordan is thrilled to be coaching at Premier Raquet Clubs in Markham and he looks forward to demonstrating his enthusiasm, passion, and knowledge of tennis in the community. With his years of coaching experience, Jordan has proved his abilities to handle both on-court needs such as lessons, camps, and clinics, as well as off-court skills such as social, community and administrative, with his trademark tournaments and events.
Ewan McColl

I have been fortunate to have been involved with Tennis from a very young age. First as a beginner in the early 1990’s, onwards to representing the Markham Tennis Club in Junior Inter County League match play in the early 2000’s. I have also had the pleasure of representing the Ajax Tennis Club in Men’s Durham Region Inter County competitions.
In 2007 I qualified to receive Instructor Level Certification through Tennis Canada and the OTA.
Dedication, hard work and obsessiveness, lead me to a point where I was training along side NCAA and ITF level players. As well as having the pleasure of working along side some of Canada’s most successful coaches.
My goal as of today, is to be the best coach, instructor and practice partner that I can possibly be.
Adam Weather

Adam has been coaching people of all ages for 20 years. Starting out at a small community club in Port Union, Scarborough, he quickly developed a passion for teaching which continues to grow. He received the Club Pro/Coach of the Year award from Scarborough Tennis Federation in 2017 & 2018, as well as being nominated a third time in 2023.
Adam has a Club Pro 1 & Wheelchair Tennis Certification. He was an Assistant Course Facilitator for OTA’s Progressive Tennis Certification course in 2010 and led TDSB’s Continuing Education Adult & Senior Tennis programs at Central Tech C.I from 2010-2015. He also served as Scarborough Tennis Federation’s VP, Junior Development.
Adam worked with several community clubs in the GTA in Coaching & Club Management roles. He is currently Head Pro at Curran Hall Park & Charlottetown TC in Scarborough. A big supporter of grassroots initiatives, he has delivered in-school programs for multiple school boards, inner-city Tennis organizations & charities such as Pro-Set Autism, and Philpott Children’s Tennis Camps.
Vika Kisialeva

Vika is a competitive tennis player with a WTA doubles ranking of 432 and a strong record of achievements, including being a finalist at several $25,000 events in Kristnehamn and Granby, as well as at the $10,000 tournaments in Caracas and Poza Rica. In singles, Vika reached a highest ranking of 698, also finishing as a finalist in the $10,000 Caracas event. She has had a solid ITF ranking of 82. Vika has defeated top players such as Eugenie Bouchard, Garbine Muguruza, Aliaksandra Sasnovich, and Anett Kontaveit.
Vika has 4 years of teaching experience in the field in which she worked one year in Texas where she taught tennis classes at Baylor University. As a graduate teaching assistant at Baylor University, Vika earned a Master’s in Sports Pedagogy, as well as she earned all-American title twice while being a student-athlete at both Baylor and Penn State Universities where she did her bachelors degree in Economics. Holding a Level 2 Club Pro Tennis Certification, Vika is committed to advancing tennis education. Research interests include exploring pedagogical approaches in sports, the effects of physical activity on cognitive performance, and investigating critical issues in tennis, such as the evaluating tennis serve, interference on learning the tennis backhand stroke and others.
