IS THE CLUB OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND?

Mississauga Location:

This is our brand new club at Churchill Meadows opened November 2024. A 7 court year round domed tennis/pickleball facility, there are 6 doubles tennis courts and 1 singles tennis court.  There are 6 permanently lined pickleball courts on 2 hybrid tennis courts.  There is a trailer office and washroom until the permanent clubhouse is built in Spring 2025.

Markham Location

PRC Markham is a 6 court Winter tennis club that opens seasonally from October to April.  This location is shared with Markham Tennis club.  In the summertime, Markham Tennis Club runs their programs from May to September. In October, 2 Domes are erected each year for the PRC winter season.

Brampton Location

PRC Brampton is a new 3 court domed facility opening at the end of November 2024.  This is a seasonal facility open Sept - end of May.  There will be no memberships for this location.  Court bookings, group lessons and City of Brampton lessons  will be available.  In the summertime, Brampton Tennis Club runs their programs from June to August. In September we erect our dome for the winter season.

A person who purchased their club membership 6 months during the promotional period prior to club opening.  There are some perks for Charter members.  Charter membership is no longer available.

WHEN I BECOME A MEMBER, ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL FEES?  DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR HOURLY COURT BOOKINGS?

There are many benefits as a member listed above in the chart.  However, there are additional  fees for booking hourly courts, programs and group lessons.  We don’t build in court fees to memberships.  We feel it is simpler  to have a membership fee as a base and then pay per use rather than buy a package deal and possibly not use some of the court bookings or not have enough bookings in the package. Compare the monthly cost for yourself.

PRC Mississauga - WHY IS COURT 7 SINGLES PLAY ONLY?  CAN I PLAY SINGLES ON THE OTHER 1-6 COURTS? 

PRC Mississauga has 6 tennis courts with doubles alley (play both doubles and singles) and 1 tennis court with only singles lines (no alley for doubles)

WHAT ARE MY PAYMENT OPTIONS? DO YOU TAKE CASH?

We are a cashless facility and don’t take cash.  But we have other payment options:   

1. Online payment by credit card

2. In person during club hours, court fee payments can be made by debit or credit card.

I MADE A MISTAKE ON MY MEMBER REGISTRATION. WHAT DO I DO?

WHY DO I HAVE TO CHECK IN WHEN ARRIVING TO PLAY?

We want to say hi to all our members and guests.  As well, we need to track who is on our premises. Every member entering our property must check in and sign a waiver.   We ask all members to check in and have their guests registered in our system.

CAN A MEMBER BRING GUESTS? HOW OFTEN AND HOW MANY GUESTS CAN I BRING?

Yes, members can bring as many guests as they wish.  However each guest may only visit max once a month on a member's booking..  All tennis guests pay a fee of $15/visit+hst.. Pickleball guest fee is $5+hst/visit.  There are non member court booking options.  Please see RESERVE COURT.

What is Pickleball Round Robin?  Is it DROP IN PICKLEBALL?

Round Robin - Pickleball Mixer Nights (or you can just call them Round Robins)

Are you looking for organized pickleball play? Looking to meet and play with new players? Tired of playing on difficult surfaces?  Mixer Nights are designed for picklers to enjoy matches with players of various levels. Social interaction is one of the key benefits of pickleball. Sign up alone or with friends, you’ll be sure to enjoy the fun!

 All booking is online.  Registration confirmation is upon payment.

We don't offer drop in pickleball similar to the  community centers.. All players have to register for a spot.  Pickleball members can register 7 days in advance, and Pickleball guests can register 3 days in advance

HOW DO I RESERVE A SPOT FOR PICKLEBALL RR?

Pickleball members - register on line 7 days in advance of the date 

- Login to courtreserve - go to events, find the name of the event and the date and time, then click to register.  Note, the event will not open until 7 days before 

OR 

- go to the tab RESERVE COURT - find the date and time of the event, and click on it to register

Pickleball guests or Non members  - Go to the Pickleball section - click on REGISTER MEMBERSHIP to set up your Pickleball guest membership so you can book online.  Enter your personal information to set up an account.  Once set up,

• Login to Court reserve 

• go to EVENTS, find the name of the event and the date and time, then click to register.  Note, the event will not open until 3 days before for non members

• OR go to the tab RESERVE COURT - find the date and time of the event, and click on it to register

All bookings are held for 15 min and will cancel automatically if not confirmed by online cc payment.

IS THERE A VIEWING AREA FOR PARENTS TO WATCH?

The first session of junior lessons, a parent, may watch from the sidelines.  However, after the first session, parents must wait in the clubhouse.  There will be another date during the lessons, when parents are invited to come watch.

CAN I COME AND WATCH MY FRIEND PLAY?

Unfortunately, NO.  We don’t have a viewing area, so only registered members and guests for the courts are permitted to enter.  Family and friends are welcome to wait in our clubhouse.  

IS THERE A VIEWING AREA FOR PARENTS TO WATCH?

CAN I JOIN ANY ACTIVITIES/LESSONS AS A NON MEMBER?

Non members can book group lessons and adult weekly instructional play (live ball, cardio).  Non members can book courts 2 days in advance by setting up a guest profile and book online or by calling the club.  There is a non member hourly court rate.  Check out RESERVE COURT for rates.

I TURNED 65 DURING THE SEASON, DO I GET SENIORS COURT FEE?

The court reserve system detects senior memberships for those who attained 65 as of registration date of the membership.  For those who turn 65 during the year, please contact the Front desk, we would be glad to give you credit for the courts you booked.

WHERE CAN I PARK?

Markham Location:

Parking during weekdays at PRC Markham - During the hours of 8am-4pm on weekdays, kindly park at the north parking lot (on Ramona Blvd). 

Parking is Not Allowed at Reesor Park Public School from 8am-4pm on weekdays. If you park at the school during these hours, you will be asked to move upon check-in.

Parking evenings and weekends, you can park at Reesor Park Public School parking lot adjacent to the Domes or at the north parking lot at these times.

Mississauga Location:

Our Address is 5320 Ninth Line, Mississauga, the same as for the entire Churchill Meadows sports park (including the community center and Mattamy soccer dome)

PRC Mississauga is just north of the Churchill Meadows Community Centre on Ninth line past Henrietta Way but before Janice Drive.  You will see these streets to the east of Ninth Line

Coming from the North - From Britannia, it's the first bubble going south on Ninth line just past Janice drive before Henrietta Way and the Community center/Mattamy Soccer dome

Coming from the South - North of Eglinton past the Mattamy Soccer dome to the 2nd bubble past the community center
