    Dear members,

    Our scheduled opening day of October 9 is just over one month away and we are excited to welcome everyone back!

Community Initiative - Student opportunity

At PRC, we are very community oriented and want to give back to our tennis and local community. We have an opportunity for a student to work occasionally at our club. This is a paid position. If you know a young person who is looking for their first job to grow and learn, please contact wlee@premierracquetclubs.com with their resume for more information.

Staff News

Maintenance Team - Joey (from our Front Desk) and Neil will handle regular scheduled court cleaning and club maintenance. Welcome Neil to the PRC Team.

New Front Desk Staff - Welcome to Diane who joined us in March. As well, Karen will be new at the Front desk starting in October.

Club Coordinator - Wanda will be an additional resource for registration and program issues. You will also see her at Front desk.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

1) New 3% credit card convenience fee - This fee will be added when using your credit card

2) E-transfer option - New for 2023 - If you would like to use this for your online registrations, please email info@premierracquetclubs.com for assistance in registering for programs or membership.

3) Debit payments will be available in person once the Club opens in October.

Reminder that we will be a cash-less facility.

NEW Box Singles Ladder

Men and Women players playing at the 3.0 level or above should check out our WTN box singles ladder in October. Tennis Canada is promoting the World Tennis Number (WTN) to all of their member clubs, as a results-based player evaluation system, recognized worldwide. Coach Val will oversee this on-line ladder, matching up players of similar skill. Watch for registration details soon.

Court maintenance

Along with the new resurfaced courts in the North Dome, planned for the end of September, we will have regular scheduled court cleanings. Everything looks great for October!

Markham Cup Pickleball Tournament

Fee is per Court: $40 for Members / $60 for Non-members
- Any Guest in a Member’s booking to add $5 Guest fee

Junior High Performance Tryout

Our HP Director Bogdan Grygorenko will be running our second program tryout on Sunday September 10th from 2-4PM Tryouts will take place at 73 Wooten Way North, Markham, Ontario. If you can’t make it, please contact Bogdan bgrygorenko@gmail.com.

Coaching Recognition and Award

PRC Markham is honoured and proud to receive a coaching award from the TPA acknowledging that all of our coaches are fully certified by Tennis Canada.
