JUNIORS
The Premier Racquet Clubs High Performance Tennis Program develops players by ensuring they have a full tactical understanding of the game. Players are taught, acquire, and enhance the skills necessary to execute these tactics. The program is led by Bogdan Grygorenko and Andy Sutton. Bogdan is a Tennis Canada certified Coach 4, former Tennis Canada National Coach, and former U14 National Team Captain. Andy Sutton is a Tennis Canada certified Coach 3, and OTA certified Club Professional 3, former Canada Summer Games Tennis Coach, the Head Ontario Coach Developer (coaching education), and a consultant to All-Canadian Sports Management and Rideau Sports Centre in Ottawa. Both have a strong background in high performance player development at the highest levels. Additions to the coaching team will be announced July 1 st .
This program is designed to develop all facets of our players’ games by focusing on their tactical, technical, physical, and psychological skills. We address physical skills to assist with lateral movement, balance, agility, and speed during the tennis training. Match play sessions are incorporated and are designed to improve players’ confidence and competitive edge while putting tactics and strategic thinking into play.

Program details
ITF Touring Team Program (5 days a week) (13yrs+) is intended for players looking to develop their game to the highest possible level. Training is daily through the week and should be supported with additional private coaching sessions. Players must have a minimum UTR of 5.5 to participate. Coaches will develop a strong tactical awareness supported with technique that will allow players to compete at national and international events. Physical and mental training will be part of the program. Admittance to this select program will be at the sole discretion of the PRC Mississauga Coaching Staff.
World Class Tennis training program (13+ yrs) is for players looking for strong success at the provincial and national level. Our strong recommendation is for players to attend the weekly training program (5 days a week) to maximize the effect of training and develop as quickly as possible. We do offer the option of training is 3 days a week on either Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday/Friday. Coaches will develop technical skills that will allow players to maximize their tactical awareness to win matches. Physical development is a core of the program and psychological development is prioritized to make sure players are able to manage matches successfully.
Junior Excellence Tournament Training Program (10-12yrs) is designed to develop players capable of moving on to participate in the ITF Touring Team Program. We develop techniques that will allow players to execute a gamestyle that will develop as the age and their individual strengths materialize. Players are trained to be able to make smart decisions to use winning tactics and have a solid psychological foundation. Physical training is offered to make sure players can work as hard as possible both during matches and training. Emphasis is on athletic qualities that allow a player to execute proper technique over extended periods.
Junior Excellence Development Training Program (9-11yrs) is designed to develop players capable of moving on to participate in the second stage Junior Excellence Program. We develop a sloid technical base with a strong link to tactics that will allow for future tournament success. Players are trained to be able to make smart decisions to use winning tactics and have a solid psychological foundation. Physical training is offered to make sure players develop outstanding athletic skills that will allow them to excel as tennis players. The ABCS’s (agility, balance, coordination, speed (including speed endurance)) of physicality are stressed.
