Club Teams

If you want to experience spirited competition, achievement, friendship, and fun in a team sport that ensures play against opponents of similar ability through the use of the National Tennis Rating Program

(NTRP), then our League Tennis is the right match for you! Our league Program provides great competition and offers competition for players at a wide range of skill levels.

Team Information:

Players may play on more than one team so long as the teams they are members of are in different leagues.  Please see below for information on the different leagues PRC – Markham will be competing in.

Ladies’ Teams

Indoor East Ladies’ League

The Indoor East Ladies’ League offer competitive doubles play for players at a wide range of level from formed college players to players who are relatively new to the game. PRC Markham’s team will play in the A1 division for the 2023/24 season.  The A1 Team will play home matches on Wednesday mornings.

A1 Division

Match time: Wednesdays @10am

Practice time: Mondays @ 11am

League play starts: TBD

NOTE: Placement on the team will be determined by the results of the tryouts and from past league play results

York North Ladies’ League

The York Nort Ladies’ League offers competition for players from 3.0-3.5 in the B division and from 4.0 and up in the A division. PRC fields teams in both divisions.  Teams in the A division play on Fridays and teams in the B division play on Thursdays.

Men’s Teams

Sunday Men’s League

The Sunday Night Winter League offers play for players at a 4.0 level and up. PRC has a team in the A2 levels and is working with a new league to get a team in the B division.  Matches for all teams in this league will be on Sunday nights and will start at either 7pm or 8pm.

Mixed Teams

Saturday Mixed League

The Saturday Mixed League offers high level mixed doubles competition that is suitable for 4.5 level players and above.

Match time: Home matches - Saturdays @ 2pm. Away match times vary.
